This is a fully comprehensive study of neuroanatomy with great detail of gross and sectional images of the brain. The material is very useful for allowing students to gain a good understanding of the structure of the brain, whilst appreciating the real anatomy on cadaveric specimens. The cadaveric images paired with the annotated images make translating the anatomy much easier for students. The content as a whole is advanced and may overwhelm students, but with guidance to specific sections, this can be alleviated. The section detailing functional neural pathways is depicted well, pairing schematic diagram with sectional cadaveric images for students to better understand the location of key structures. Clinical imaging is useful for clinical programmes, showing multiple slices in different planes. The use of images in the glossary is particularly effective for allowing visualisation and therefore, better understanding of structures.
